Gluten-Free Breadcrumbs: Loaves, Pudding, and More

One use for gluten-free breadcrumbs is to make them into a delicious English bread pudding. There are several recipes out there, so pick the one(s) that sound the best and get to it. Just remember, that you want to substitute the regular breadcrumbs for the gluten-free variety. You can also make stuffed clams, or bread your chicken, fish, or even pork chops. Bread crumbs of any sort are an excellent topping for pasta. However, they aren't just for these foods alone. How about good old-fashioned meat loaf.
Meat loaf is a comfort food, kind of like chili in one respect. If you get five different people together and ask them how they make their meat loaf, you'll probably be amazed at how many different ways there are to make meat loaf. You could have southwestern meatloaf with Mexican cheese and jalapenos mixed into the mix, and taco sauce used in lieu of ketchup. You could have Texas style meatloaf that's layered with rich gravy, or you could make bacon cheeseburger meatloaf with a layer of crisp bacon on top of each layer of meatloaf. However, regardless of the meatloaf recipe you want to use, there are certain common factors about meatloaf. One common factor is to include some sort of binding agent before you put it in the oven. That's where something like gluten-free breadcrumbs come in. You can use them just as effectively as breadcrumbs that aren't gluten-free, and here's the best part. You don't have to give up either texture or flavor.

Even More Uses For Gluten-Free Bread Crumbs

There are even more uses for gluten-free bread crumbs.  You can use them as a topping for your soups, salads, and even your desserts.  They are obviously a binding agent, but they're also great for thickening sauces and other uses as well.
There are two ways to look at having a food allergy such as gluten-sensitivity.  You can either let it ruin your life, or you can adapt your dietary habits to work around it, such as being on the lookout for various foods that you can eat.  One great example?  Buy gluten-free breadcrumbs.
