Health Benefits of Gluten-Free Bread Crumbs

As we covered previously, there are several health benefits to consider.
Being carb-based, gluten-free bread crumbs are associated with an increase in body energy levels and improved mental function. You may also experience better bowel function and elimination and weight loss.
For maximum health benefits it is ideal to use crumbs that are completely natural and have no preservatives.
How do I go about finding the right kind of bread crumbs that are suitable for people with celiac disease? You might want to ask. Here are some quick tips for you.
Tip 1: Read the list of ingredients to confirm the product is made from naturally gluten and wheat-free ingredients.
Tip 2: Some ideal ingredients include: Potato flour, Olive oil, Honey, Bean flour or Sunflower.
Tip 3: Do a spot check just to ensure that the product adheres to the strictest quality and testing processes.

Gluten-Free Bread Crumbs

One of the growing concerns among people is the issue of food safety, and it's not just a matter of freshness.  If you are someone with gluten-allergies, or celiac disease, you want to make sure that wherever you get your gluten-free bread crumbs from has standards of both safety as well as quality.  It wouldn't do for you to get what you think are gluten-free products only to find out that the facility that they came from takes no precautions to make sure that there isn't any cross contamination.
Freshness matters too, of course.  If you got a gluten-free pizza crust or gluten-free bread crumbs, it's kind of a wash if you get a food borne illness because the place you bought it from didn't take precautions to clean their equipment and sterilize their work areas.
Final Word
If you are suffering from celiac disease you should follow the recommended diet very strictly. However, this does not mean that you should eat flat and boring food all the time. Thanks to gluten-free bread crumbs, you can still enjoy your favorite meal without putting your health in danger.
As the old saying goes “You are what you eat”. If you eat the right kind of food you’ll not have to worry too much about your health. So eat well, and live life. Get plenty of rest, and drink a lot of water.  All the best from your source for gluten-free products!

How Gluten-Free Bread Crumbs Can Help
When you’re diagnosed with celiac disease, and told to live gluten-free for the rest of your life, you might feel a bit worried and confused. What on earth is gluten? And what should I eat to stay healthy? Here’s a quick takeaway for you. Gluten can pose serious threat for those with a gluten allergy or sensitivity. The elements that make up gluten act like poison to the lining of the gut. With time, this may create inflammation and cause damage to the cells. As you might expect, this normally leads to a myriad of digestive and health issues.
Unfortunately, the exact cause of celiac disease (the cause of gluten allergy) is unknown. Some experts believe that it can be hereditary and therefore passed to some family members in some cases. In chronic conditions, the intestine system is extremely weakened and abdominal pain may be experienced. Bloating, mouth sores and cramping muscles are also well-known symptoms.
Many foods available for purchase contain a lot of gluten, which is unhealthy for you. Foods that are overly processed or contain artificial flavors are a big no-no. On a gluten-free diet (which is recommended for Celiac disease sufferers), you would like to eat more veggies, fruits and health carbs. Unhealthy carbs are found in most bread products out there like pastries and doughnuts. This however does not mean that you should forget about eating your favorite, crunchy bread crusts.

Where Gluten-free Bread Crumbs Come In

Bread crumbs can do wonders for texture and crunch, giving food a new dimension of awesomeness. Moreover, their light and airy texture does not weigh down food. The main benefit of eating high quality gluten-free bread crusts is improved digestion – which is a crucial aspect of healthy living.

Gluten-Free Pizza Crusts and The Ingredient List

In our last article, we covered gluten-free pizza crusts a bit.
Making gluten-free pizza crusts isn't as easy as you might think, however.
First thing first, you’re going to have to buy your ingredients which will include: Tapioca flour, white rice flour, chickpea flour, sorghum flour, xanthum gum, sea salt, dry yeast, milk, olive oil, and some eggs. Once you’ve bought these items (and, yes, all of them should be at your local grocery store), the recipe is simple:

Gluten-Free Recipe

Three-quarter cup of Tapioca flour, half-cup white rice flour, one-third cup of sorghum flower, one-third of a cup chickpea flour, one teaspoon of xanthum gum, one teaspoon of salt, half cup of milk, two-and-a-quarter teaspoons of dry yeast, two teaspoons sugar, two large egg whites beaten, and three large teaspoons of olive oil.
With your next step, you’re going to want to combine the milk and water into a medium size ban and heat until warm. Remove from stove, and then in a large mixing bowl and slowly combine you dry ingredients. until it has been transformed into a ball of dough. Once is done, take you dough, and with oiled fingertips, stretch the dough out over an oiled cookie sheet, or pizza stone. Once you have your dough stretched out, add sauce, cheese, and your favorite gluten free toppings.
Once this is done, pre-heat your oven to 400 degrees, and once it has reach your desired temperature, place your pizza on the middle wrack and bake for approximately 20 minutes. You’re also going to want to broil the pizza for about five minutes so the gluten-free crust becomes a crispy golden brown.
Remove the pizza and get ready to eat!

Gluten-Free Wraps and Food Sensitivity

Gluten-free wraps are a good choice for people who have celiac disease or other form of sensitivity to gluten.  But what exactly is gluten?  Gluten is a type of protein found in foods such as certain grains, cereals, and wheat. The main purpose of gluten in the food industry is to preserve the food elasticity during the fermentation phase. Gluten prevents foods from having a doughy sticky texture and makes bread “chewy”.
With recent increases in people suffering of gluten sensitivity and celiac disease, gluten-free diet has been recently recommended by dietitians, bariatric physicians, and weight loss specialists. A gluten-free diet has many health benefits.

Gluten-Free Foods and Digestive Health

What benefits does a gluten-free diet have?  Well for example, a gluten-free diet  can be instrumental in promoting digestive health, improving cholesterol levels, and increasing energy levels for those who have gluten intolerance. A gluten free diet not only eliminates gluten but also removes many unhealthy foods from your diet, including fried foods and deserts high in fat and sugars. Processed foods that contain unhealthy gluten also contain other unhealthy chemicals, such as artificial flavors. By eating gluten free foods you also eliminate unhealthy carbohydrates and oils found in pastries and doughnuts.
With an improved diet including something like gluten-free wraps, there is also the benefit of weight loss, improved energy, and overall better cardiovascular health.  Eliminating gluten from your diet help reduce your risk of certain cancers, heart disease, and diabetes. As we covered above, a gluten-free diet will promote healthy weight loss and enhance your immune system because many of the foods you eat will be rich in minerals, vitamins, and antioxidants.  It isn't enough to lose weight.  You want to do it in a healthy way, or you run the risk of additional health problems.  However, what about if you have gluten-sensitivity?
Gluten sensitivity means you have even more reason to get foods that have no gluten in them.  It can literally save your life.  So remember, consult your dietitian and or your doctor.  Then make sure you stock your food pantry and refrigerator with foods that are healthy, like gluten-free wraps for example.

Gluten-Free Pizza Crusts in a Big Market

Let's face it.  Gluten-free pizza crusts are only one of a plethora of foods out there Will you like every one of these products? Probably not. However by experimenting and trying different options you are sure to find quite a few that you like. Going gluten-free isn't always easy. It takes a lot more work to be on a gluten-free diet than it takes to eat whatever you want. However, for people with Celiac disease there isn't any other option.
Eating foods that contain wheat when you have Celiac disease will make you sick, and can threaten your long term health. By finding products that you like, such as gluten-free pizza crusts, and eating naturally occurring gluten-free foods, you can eat a healthy and fulfilling diet. Remember that just because you have Celiac disease this doesn't mean that you have to eat a diet of foods that you don't enjoy. You can go gluten-free and still enjoy your meals.  But are pizza crusts the healthiest for you?  After all, pizza isn't the healthiest food, right?

Healthy Gluten-Free Eating

Wrong! If you get a base such as a gluten-free pizza crust, it is just that: a base.  How you prepare it will determine how healthy it is for you or not.  There is a big difference between a pizza crust prepared with high fat foods such as a lot of cheeses and butter and a vegan pizza lightly brushed with olive oil and baked to perfection.  Another trick?  Put some fresh made apple preserves for your own apple pie pizza.  You can also use the crusts as crispy chips if you bake them long enough.
So as you see, a little imagination and the right ingredients is all that it takes to have some healthy eating.  Consult a dietitian, a nutrition expert, and your physician for what sort of foods you should be eating for optimal health.  Make sure all of your ingredients are fresh, and avoid a lot of processed foods.  If you have any sort of gluten-sensitivity, go one more step above this.  Make sure that all of your ingredients aren't just labeled as gluten-free, they are certified as being gluten-free.  Like our gluten-free pizza crusts for example.
